The fastest that I have ever driven in my WRX was last year. I pulled a highway run of approx 155-160 MPH. Needle only goes to 140, and I was WELL PAST THAT. My needle was beyond pointing straight down!

We are going to try to lose some more weight and try for 10's this next time down

I myself hit 60 in second gear which is why i have low 8's...but no one believes me...maybe with a few mods i can get high 7's like 7.9

who knows....my top speed was achieved today 105 mph and I could of swore that it was less than 4 grand on the tach...at that speed you dont want youre eyes to leave the road...heh heh

I think i hit 60 in second too. I will have to check it out today on my way home from work! I think my highest speed was 95. In most places of NJ you don't want to do more than that cause the roads are so bad.

We have these stupid stoplights on some of our freeway onramps here in Seattle. They're really only good for launch practice. Today I hit what looked like 57 in 2nd and I've topped at 80 in 3rd.
A friend who owns a 1978 280Z challenged me to a drag race at Seattle Int'l Raceway/ Pacific Raceways. I'll post the slip times. I'm sure they'll suck though, I've never actually dragged...
