Canexican's MAP EF4 powered Evo goes 10.24@144.7!

This was only my second time out with the car on this setup. It's pretty wicked. Car is in race trim, but could still shed a decent bit more weight. Tires were overinflated on this run, which meant I had to feather the throttle through first gear. Want to thank everyone involved from TPG Tuning, Modern Automotive Performance, and Curt Brown Racing.

Specs:
Curt Brown 2.3ltr, 10.5:1 motor
Curt Brown Built/Ported Head
Kelford 280's
MAP EF4
C16
24.5x8.5x15 M&H Slicks
Big Jam Tune from Jay at TPG Tuning
Slimfast for Evo

612whp/490ftlbs

Nice going Dave!

With a 1.7 60' ...and you had a 1.4 60' in the past on the same car old setup....you figure you can shave off .6 on your time...get you close to the 9.6's

Plus...that was at crappy PRP....wait until you get up to Norwalk...you will think you died and went to heaven on that track....

I don't know. Not interior, no HVAC, no sound deadening, etc. We're guessing in the 2550-2650 range empty. There was a half tank. I weight 215lbs, so 2760 - 2860ish with me in it.

Pretty legit pass. 144-145 traps should have you in the 9s in no time with some more time in the saddle

Would have happened that night on the next pass. My 10.2 pass was a 1.71 60ft. The next pass was a 1.47 60ft, however I couldn't get her into 3rd. Going to upgrade the shifter bushings and see if that helps.
