It's Done! TPG built Evo on MAP EF4 finally goes 9's!
Finally got the monkey off my back! The transmission was redone this past week by Dan Buschur and it worked! Jay finished it up yesterday and straight to the track we went on, "No Trailer Tuesday." So, we drove it to the track on the slicks. Only problem we discovered by going on this day was there was absolutely ZERO track prep.
Had issues with traction out of the hole all night, but kept getting progressively faster. Went from mid 10s to low 10s. On my 6th pass, it went 10.0012 at 142mph. We were pissed. Literally started ripping out any remaining pieces that werent necessary: weather stripping, light bulbs, wiring, fuses, etc. People watching us in their street cars could not comprehend this behavior.
Finally got the two step up on the 7th and last pass of the night (w/o rolling through the beams due to a slight down hill grade in the stage box) and it hooked hard. If I had missed a gear after that launch, I may not have bothered hitting the brakes after crossing the traps. Went nuts after I got my slip. Single digits are pretty awesome.
Can't thank the TPG crew enough for their hard work and dedication on this build. MAP has been great with their turbo and parts support. Curt Brown proves he can do port work like no one else.
I'll see you guys at the shootout!

Thanks Chris, couldn't have done it without your help!
And sorry guys, still no clue on the weight. There isn't a scale anywhere near where the car is located. It could still get alot lighter, but budget has prevented me from doing so. Still stock fuel tank, stock driveshaft, stock mustache bar, oem glass, power steering, stock seat and rails, stock seat belt, power front windows, stock trunk, etc.
