Hey guys i was wondering what some of your trap speeds are on stock turbo. I finally got my IX RS out to the track the other weekend for the first time and did decent for my first time out.

My best run was a 12.07 @ 119.5 mph even with a bad 2.02 60' time.

I have a few basic bolt ons plus E85 making around 400 whp.

What are some of your guys trap speeds on stock turbo?

 

I once hit 11.9 @ 115 with stock 03 turbo. 93+meth injection. :}

 

Get the 60 fts down to 1.6s & with an almost 120mph trap you will be running mid to low 11s no problem.

 

Highest I trapped was 118 on stock 8 turbo, just bolt ons and 93 pump and no weight reduction. Going to try and max out this IX stock turbo setup and see what it traps. My goal is 10's on the stock IX turbo.

 

I hope I run mid 11's I am making the same power 398whp and 396Tq.Before my recent retune when I was at 355whp, I ran 12.4 @ 112mph with 1.6 60ft.

 

I trapped 114-115 on pump 93 with very basic mods ( 9 turbo, TBE, FMIC and intake). Still had the stock EM, IM, injectors, cams, etc.

 

125.97mph. 93oct + 100% methanol injection.

 

That's a solid MPH for sure, just get your 60ft times down and you will be running mid to low 11s all day. My old White IX RS went 11.59@116mph with just an intake, full exhasust, FMIC, LICP, E85, and full weight with everything. Just get your 60ft times down and you will be consistent in the 11s

 

stock 8 turbo I ran 11.56@120. Like others are saying mid to low 11 shouldn't be a problem once you get your 60 figured out.

i did 120.5mph on stock 9 turbo, 93, 340awhp, in perfect conditions, and it was not my best ET run, my best ET on that setup was 12.04 with a 1.72 60ft....your best ET will never have your best MPH on these cars lol. i just did 11.7 in the same car now making 380awhp and trapped 117mph on e85 (actually more like e75-e78 or so)

Well i just bought an Exedy Twin HD to replace my ****ty ACT street disc. so hopefully once i break this clutch in i can pull some 1.7-1.8 60' times and get well into the 11's.

 

not nessecarily true, my best ET and MPH were both on the same pass, but usually that is not the case
