Congrats to the entire team at Kings Performance on a NEW Personal best ET of 8.36@174MPH

The team attended the FL2K14 event this weekend and competed in the "limited street" class. It's awesome to hear of a 1000+whp Evo going rounds with many other 1000+whp Supras, GTR's, Mustangs and other high powered cars.After going many rounds with stiff competition the Evo came out on top and WON the class. Pretty cool to win the trophy and a NEW Personal best ET.

The NEW personal best time of 8.36@174MPH happened yesterday Saturday October 12th at 6:22pm

It's fair to say this Evo has the most 8 sec passes compared to any other Evo that i'm aware of. These guys race this car and don't just make 1 or 2 passes then pack it away for the rest of the season. Even when most shops have switched platforms to GTR's, Kings Performance and Procco Evo/Eddie have been putting our beloved CT9A high on a pedestal. I am told the old boy faired very well against a high powered GTR today

On this 8.36 pass there is a clear picture of the chute being pulled too early. Also take a look at the 60' 1.5xx. If just the 60' were better we would have been talking about a NEW World record. There is no doubt in my mind we'll be seeing a new world record pass from this team in the not too distant future!
