Congrats to the whole team at STM. Great to see you guys kicking *** with so many off-the-shelf parts. Shows that you don't need all that custom **** to run 8s like you see some of these guys running. lol Not to say that some thing is wrong with custom parts, but its just not needed for the average 9-8 second car.

That is really huge power to do that, gotta love that 99HTZ!! The whole build here was awesome, was expecting big things and it has delivered... great work guys.

Any plans to go to something like a Ghost Shifter setup? Looks like it gets awfully exciting hooking gears!

 

Good job STM! Ive seen that evo last Buschurs shootout and boy, that thing is clean! Show quality with world class performance. It also proves no need for F1 science with uber rare parts or materials to be record holder with ct9a chasis. 7s next year?

How clean the car is for a drag car is just awesome! Congrats on the record and hopefully the evo community will see the 7's for no other reason that it would simply be bad A$$.

The car is beautiful though so congrats to all at STM Tuned

Amazing job guys. Congrats, you probably earned every bit of it. To think ams ran 7.7@186 with their $7 figure budget GTR.....and Emery is here rowing his own gears on his way to near 7s lol.

I hate when people make this comparison.. Just like they do with the Comp Clutch Honda. In the world of racing sure a 7 second car is a 7 second car. Those GTR's (up until now) are fully streetable with AC and power everything and not stripped out.

I'd rather have a 7 second street car than a 7 second race car..

 

I believe this weight was without fluids or safety equipment. I think the car at race weight (with me in it) is somewhere around 2450- 2500.

 

I've watched this video a bunch of times now & this car is a f*cking animal! I've said it before & I'll say it again, Emery you're a beast behind the steering wheel! Car is so damn clean too! Congrats to the STM crew!
