Yo...
Mike and I were the father son team.
Nice to meet everyone - evo8power, rebelzx, yellowfever, and Al of course.
FYI - Al's best was 11.61 at 125 and change. He took runner-up in the AWD heads up match race.
On his last run he "slowed" to 11.81 because of a overheated clutch.
The winner was some trailered in beast with Hoosier drag slicks and NOS.
In fairness, it was a nice car, an old school Eclipse, so at least a DSM won.
Of course, while he was packing his stuff up, Mike and I followed Al as he just hopped in and
drove off in his car to get some dinner.
Hey Kev - I hope your boy can get those vids he took on somewhere so
everyone can enjoy.
Finally, the quickest Evo of the day was rebelzx, who ran a blistering 8.8 seconds
with the aid of a leaf that fluttered through the finish line beam.
But he has the slip, adn we all thought he should try and cash in on Al's 11 sec offer..

Yeah it was a lot of fun racing yesterday. We had some quick evos. Sometimes I show up and there are people running 14's all day and giving our cars a bad name. None of that bs yesterday. I ran a little bit slower than I wanted, but I have a little tweaking left to do so I'm not too dissapointed. I was really trying to breakinto the 12's. I ran 13.0 twice, once with a 1.73 60' and once with a 1.85 60'. On the 1.85 run, I would have hit 12.8-12.9 for sure if the damn tires would hook up! AWD doesn't mean **** when you have 305 ft. lbs of torque at the wheels and snow tires! I think that every evo that ran yesterday won trophies bracket racing. All in all, it was a good showing.

They are actually Hoosier DOT Street Tires, not slicks and yes he sprays... but so Does Al so not sure why you were pointing that out .
He actually ran a 10.1 @ 143 on his first qualifying pass.

But just for a point of reference the DSM only sprayed on 1 run... where he went 10.1 @ 141... every other run he ran just boost because the runs weren't clean
