Driving to the track on slicks..?

I used to drive my evo to the local 1/8 track on my Hoosier qtps and it did fine. Sold those and purchased some Mickey Thompson Et drags and wondering if they would be okay to drive on as well...?

It’s about a 10 minute drive from my house.

I’ve read other mixed feelings about it on other forums.. figured I’d ask my fellow evo members

I certainly wouldn't recommend it.

But there are people in my area that drive on bias plys all summer. Not a great idea, but it happens.
