Has he converted to RWD now or is he still AWD?

He is rwd now. The car is basicly a tube car but he found a hole in the rules that let him stay with the unibody cars. I think he has some of the stock fire wall still there. In the NHRA races he has to race with the full tube cars, he is about 8/10 of a second off of the pace.

He is not a tube car. He is 7/8th chassis. COMPLETELY different. He ran 7.5 in a class that is dominated by 6 cylinders and he just broke the record with a 4G63

I am not saying I was not happy to see him run that time, but his car is NOT 7/8 chassis. If he was chassis he would not have to race with the tube cars in the NHRA. Nopi has some goofy rule, but they are still friendly to AWD cars so I'll still race there.

To each their own. Everyone has their own opinion. insert more motherly advice here.

This is not my opinion. His car is 7/8th chassis. The only reason nhra will not allow him to race in modified is because he does not have stock front shock towers. If it was a pro car it would weigh 300lbs less.

The car is amazing and must be making serious hp. I would not be surprised to see the car running 7.20s by the end of the year if it is doing so good so early in the season.

Well, he has missed the last 3 east coast events in a row and NOPI's rule book puts his car in the modified class. Paul Ephantis just set a IDRC record of 7.45@185 in the IDRC outlaw class.
