Is there a way to calculate 0-60mph from a drag strip time slip?

Sort of sucks don't it? Seems like Drag stips would modernize to radar for speed readings instead of doing an average speed over the last 66 feet of the track using trip beams like they do now. If they did that, they could give you your 0 to 60 time right along with the standard drag strip information.

There is no way to know for sure from just the 1/4 mile info but there are calculators that can guess and come close. Here is one that I found. Using this calculator, I ran a 4.75 second 0-60 when I was stock and a 4.41 with the mods I have on the car now.

 

That's pretty interesting - at least i know i'm faster than a school bus
