What are you talking about? The forum is mostly uk and european. The only thing US on that page is the turbotrix evo 8. I was just laughing because one guy said there are a few 9 sec evos in the us, and some are on ebay.

 

not evo8's... but there was AMS's evo2 that ran 9.78 last year..

here it is beating the crap outta me last year when my car was pretty much stock.. at least i got him off the line!!

I get you, it is funny to see other countries talk about us Americans . It seems that Turbo Trix is becoming world known, they deserve the attention. I believe the Turbo Trix EVO 8 is just the first of many to hit the 9s, maybe the 8s is a possibility for their EVO.

 

Stop taking the p**s out of us. We can’t help it. We don’t have many straight roads here anyway, so it’s hard for us! We try to drag EVOs, but we normally end up blowing the rear diffs! Its not fear!

It’s not as though we don’t have the power (i.e. RC’s 930bhp (estimated) & Norris Designs 800bhp) its just there are not that many of us that can drag a car properly, and the tires we use are normally better at laps than runs!

Put RC’s EVO on some drag tires and let’s see what they can do!

Not that I’m dissing you in anyway. And keep up the good work! It just means we have to make even more power to try and keep up! LOL

If you are still beating us then let’s go to Nuremberg and see who can get the fastest time around there. At the minute, for a road car, it is the Radical SR3 Turbo with 7 min 19 seconds! That was straight out the box, with problems and a drive unfamiliar with the car!

If you want know who holds the Guinness Book of Record fastest road car to 60 time then that would be the Tiger/Z-Cars Z100WR with 2.8 seconds! That again was out the box with no and you can buy one tomorrow! You can make them quicker with a N2O kit (on each engine) and knock a few tenths of that time!

And if you want to bring some other road going stuff then have a look at this for a quick car!

Thanks for making me feel all patriotic again as after last night I was feeling a bit s**t. Its all good fun really and it doesn’t matter what sport you are competing in, be it drag, circuit, rally etc, it all bumps up the game and inspires new stuff that one day may filter down to the cars we drive.

Please lets not have an international pissing contest, there are many fast EVOs in Britian, drag racing just isn't as big there as it is here. I think drag racing will always remain big in America, but I hope time trial racing starts to catch on more too.

 

At least the Brits have long ago realized that drag racing is gay.

Yeah but the Norris Design EVO has a lot of money in it, have you seen the mod list for that car, if I printed it out, it would be 2 pages. It also has a larger Turbo than the one used by Turbo Trix EVO. Still if the car was tuned more for drag racing, I'm sure it's capable of much more than 10.1@139MPH. The Norris Design EVO can reach speeds of over 200MPH, I can't think of to many street legal 4 door sedans that can say that, modified or not.
