13.002 @103.3 is my best with AVO exhaust, BR hiflow cat, K&N drop-in, Blitz EBC and Dynoflash. I was running on 91 with more than 1/2 tank of gas since I filled up the day before.

12.89@108 with intake/mbc set at 23psi/full exhaust/ afc/ 100octane. 1.84 60ft. Missed 4th gear.

10.52/130mph

Carillo Rods

Custom Cams
Holset turbo
twin bosch fuel pumps etc.etc

Everything is done with the Car.

The 10.52 Run was done at ONLY 18psi of boost.

Which gear were you in when you exit the 1/4 mile? I have a 5 speed so I was at 3rd gear. You were probably slower due to 3 shifts compared to 2 shifts.

Which gear is the EVOs in when they exit? I have a MR on order and I wouldn't want to make 4 shifts in the 1/4 mile with the 6 speed, lol.

Near 110 they will all be at high rpms in 4th gear. The STI's have a 6 speed and they actually have to shift to 5th to finish the 1/4 mile running mid 13's.

BTW I sure hope you dont read the mags for 1/4 mile times, because they are done on their track and they only take the fastest time they run after many tries. So their #'s are going to be much faster then real world #'s. Lets not forget they have a pro driver in the seat too.


So far for my fastest times

12.308 at 110 in smogrunners stage 1+ evo8(fontana was slow that day)
12.7 at 112 mph in my audi A4 running just 20psi

Nice 60 ft time. I cant wait to pull that in my A4. My 12.7 at 112 was with a slow 1.955 60 ft with a slipping clutch.

Wow I didn't know 3rd gear went so high in the 5 speeds. Yeah your correct I need 3 shifts, I would usually be in 4th. I don't think the shifting was a problem and (shouldn't be a problem for the MR), my 1.9 60FT times probably had more to do with my times. I was very confident that I could get a 1.7 60FT, because I had been really working on my launching and I know the car had the power, 12s were in sight, too bad I wrecked it

If I still had my VR4, I would let Audi2ptzero take it down the strip he probably would have got me in the 12s.

I see that a lot of 12s and even an 11 have posted, and most have some sort of flash or stand alone system. People who posted earlier low 13s on their modified EVOs, should utilize a flash of some sort, it's a great modification.
