post yor 1/8th mile times
Yeah, I'm still on the stock clutch. Part of my excitement came from the clutch taking the abuse at almost 17k miles. The 60' on my 8.01 @ 88.6 pass was actually a 1.79, my best for the day was a 1.74. I'd like to know how I squeezed another 4.5mph out of the car on a slower track with higher temps, but it just makes me want to run at a better track now!
could be something as simple as shifting faster. the faster you shift, the less time you are off the gas, the faster your trap will be. Also, running a slightly slower 60' sometimes increases your trap speed.
It has something to do with traction I believe. I know my quickest 1/8 and 1/4 passes are some of my slowest traps but fastest 60'.

8.4 @ 86
AEM intake, Bushur 3' TBE w/ Delete pipe, UTEC (not tuned worth a ****)
got 272's in the trunk, new manifold, and 880cc injectors getting ready to be professionally tuned... then I'll watch it drop like hell
