This guy that hangs out with us started trash talking and called my car a minivan...took the time to look at the pictures of his car and found an engine shot since he wouldnt say what he was running...go figure. anyway, here are a few links to pics of his engine. any ideas about what he's running and how much power or how fast he is would be useful. thanks

looks pretty stock to me, but looks can be decieving, i see tsx rfl blow off valve and open element air filter, other than that i dunno.

He's got upper ic piping, bov, mini battery and an air filter from what I can see.

 

I see a buschur front mount in there. He could also have a buschur turbo kit in there as well since the buschur manifold uses the stock heatshield.

 

Know what he is running? a 4 cylender that is probably faster than your porsche.

Looks like the intake is the K&N Typhoon intake

 

Looks like a huge intercooler too.

 

He might also have custom tuning... custom tuned ECU, or maybe UTEC or an EMS... so u gotta keep that in mind too. Tuning the evo can really squeeze out some nice numbers.

FYI THIS IS NOT MY EXACT CAR! mine is silver and not a Carrera RS. Mine is a Carrera BUT it does have the same wheels and the aftermarket body kit seen in the photos.

 

Thanks for the help everyone. No, I'm not thinking about racing him but was a little ticked about the "minivan" comment.

 

He is probably running low 13's or high 12's with the mods that I see assuming he is a reasonably decent driver.
