It is bad. But that is alos the only way i cant think of to get a auto to drop that much torque thru a turn
EDIT: I could be very much wrong on this. Its been forever and a day since ive owned an auto. But it also had a shift kit, where i was shifting it just like a clutchless manual. So, I am falible.

and for whoever was talking about breaking, if you really gotta stop hard like how manuals can hold clutch and brake at the same time for tranny disengaging, autos can shift up into neut since there is no lockout between N and D, but again, auto shifting isnt good for automatic, just my .02

I left foot brake all the time, but it's just what i'm used to. I do notice that i tend to be hard on brake pads and rotors but nothing extreme. I have had my lancer about 6 months and i'm pretty sure the front brake pads need to be replaced very soon, but they were worn when i got the car so that's not all my fault.

WSB, I tried that left-foot braking thing just now. It's nice, I noticed I was able to corner a little better cuz I didn't spend any of that coasting time moving my right foot over between gas and brake. There's one problem, though. It's really really tough on the nizzuts. It's quite a tough squeeze down there when you have your left foot over the brake and your right over the gas. So, make sure you don't have any quads when you're ready to try it.
