Donuts
Sorry if this is in the wrong spot first of all. If so mods plez move to the correct place. But anyways... How do you whip the beautiful perfect donuts in perfect circles over and over again? What is the technique?
And yes I know this isn't good for the car so plez don't tell me how I am a dumb*** or anything like that.

Give the wheel a quarter turn and accel hard. When the car starts to understeer, lift and put in another quarter turn. When the back end begins to come around, smoothly roll into the throttle.
For tight donuts, keep the wheel turned into the direction of the donut. For bigger ones, gradually turn out. More throttle will slow the turn, less (or left foot braking) will accelerate it. It may be necessary to roll on and off the throttle (or LFB) in order to sustain the turn, especially on grippy surfaces. If you reach full steering lock (in either direction), or use the handbrake, you are doing it wrong. Doing figure 8's around parking lot lights or islands is a great car control excercise.
It goes without saying that this is easier to do on a slippy surface like gravel, snow, or wet pavement. Evos really do the best on gravel. They have too much weight for snow, and can be hard to control. Half to three quarter throttle will be plenty. Doing this on pavement will at a minimum torch your tires, and most likely break other stuff.
Of course this is only to be done in a safe, controlled environment, with the property owner's permission, blah-blah....
A word of caution: Do NOT show your girlfriend how to do this if you plan on cheating on her.

2nd Gear is the best.... start turning in 1st gear going like 5-10mph, floor it, shift into 2nd gear, floor it again, keep the wheel turned and you should start doing pretty good axis drift, takes a little practice, i would do it in grass or when it rains so its not as hard on the car.
if you get understeer and dont do good circles you can try again or push the clutch in, rev it up really high pop the clutch, and it should get you goin in the axis drift like u want.
BTW, This is not something cool to do. but it can be fun lol

I've gotten some rough wheel hop just spinning tires in the rain in a straight line. So let off if it gets jumpy or **** will break. And I love my evo in the winter. Just some good tires, keep your speed up and steer with throtle. In Ohio a few years ago, we had a biggg ice storm. My snow tires did even better on ice, on some straights I hit 130 and it never got out of control, even braking. By the way it was like a level 3 storm and nobody else was out.
If only i was at home, i got a vid of my friend doing donuts in a parkinglot(closed off w/permission
) the day it iced here in tx. (HAHA and yes it only iced once last yr and only for a couple hour was the ice good.)
Ps. even on the ice his tc/tranny didnt sound like they were enjoying them selves with the small circular pattern he was putting down
So once again beware of breakages
