what does dropping clutch to launch damage

i did search for this but couldn't find anything. when you hold 5500rpm and drop clutch to launch, what is the worst thing that will happen to the car when doing this repeatedly over time? also, if this worst thing happens, would it be under warranty?

Basically it shocks the entire drivetrain: Clutch, gears, transfer case, motor mounts, all the bushings in the suspension, axles, driveshafts, rear diff.

You do it enough, any and all of those things will fail prematurely.

One of the local dealers here in SoCal quoted me $1700 installed. Lame Ended up installing it myself. The stock clutch will burn up before the drivetrain fails but the shock cant be good for it either.

you do not DUMP the clutch when you launch

you gradually let it up until it grabs then you quickly let off as you nail the gas

and warranty...well yeah haha

rev up to anywhere form 3 - 6k depending on the loving feeling your going for. slowly release the clutch until it begins to slip (du dud udu noise) until you hear your turbo spool (woosh) now let that clutch out all the way, not super fast but at a decent speed. THen experience said lovin feelin til its gone then repeat ;D
