My launch video

Just reved it up to 6k and slipped out the clutch (exedy twin disk). It was a little tough to shift, look at the tach, steer, and hold the camera at the same time so it was a little shakey.

Please next time have someone tape for you that is so unsafe.

Anyways, didn't seem like a bad launch, Do you have 2-Step?

It wasn't unsafe. The camera was in my left hand as I drove normally. It took a few tries, before I made a pass where the camera maintained a good view of the tach and speedo.

My launch control is at 6k, but my best 60' times come when I launch without it.

that video was very informative thank you! I like how you reved up to your launch point. I need to release a lot faster. I went to the track and ran my first 1/4 mi yesterday (i've done 1/8 a few times & burned my clutch up slipping it like a granny). My times were horrible, but I would not launch this time. Looking back at some loggs, I noticed some small knock around 6k and that I was shifting out of my power band. More rpms was not better and I have to launch for decent times.

Yeah, the glare screws it up a lttle, but you can tell from the rpms and shift points where I'm at in terms of MPH. 60MPH comes at the 2-3 shift.

I have another video under my youtube username where I mounted the camera on the steering column, and that clip is nice and stable. Unfortunately, it wasn't in the Evo.
