Rev-Match downshifting
It IS a matter of preference for street driving, and I guess performance driving as well. But like many other things in the sport, the competitive ones are the people who have mastered all the skills at hand without creating bandaids like blipping twice.
Not starting a fight or anything, just expressing my opinion on the subject.
Well I won't tell you you're wrong, but if you're driving a high performance car on the track, I doubt you'd have time to double-blip through 3-4 gears under hard braking. If it was me, and I was struggling with downshifting, I would practice-till-perfect. It would bother me, personally, to have less driving performance than my car.

Definitely! You have much more experience on a track than I do, I can do both I just find two short blips better for me.
Thats what this thread is about... What "others" use...
Cheers!
