I doubt it but I am not that knowledgable. Is it holding at 5500rpm? How long do you hold it at 5500 before releasing the brake pedal? I release mine less than 1 sec after the motor reaches it's 5500rpm limit. The only time I have had a problem is when I when tried to raise the limit from 5500 to 6000 in the ecu or when I did not have it in "launch mode" and accidently "power braked" like I would a torque converter car, both times the chutch overheated, i get a warning to slow down on the dash and the car either creeps away from the launch or freewheels! That is the extent of my knowledge on the subject, sorry I could not help.

I'm not buying it, I was at WOT to the redline with only 20mi on my car, completely ignoring the "break-in (and common sense most will say) and launching it hard after a couple of hundred miles (once I figured out how) and I'm getting 1.75" 60' times in launch mode after a SST fluid change (2.0" 60' before fluid)!

Hey, I'm in Riverside frequently, how about we get together and ride in each others car under launch conditions. I'm not saying I can fix anything but I'm curious to find out how your car behaves compared to mine. If interested drop me a PM or an email.

Paul

I tried it today and you can feel the clutch put a load on the engine untill about 2500 rpm, then it releases and the revs head up to like 5k for a nice takeoff.

The launch never chirps the tires. it is very mild.
