MR launch control procedure
I doubt it but I am not that knowledgable. Is it holding at 5500rpm? How long do you hold it at 5500 before releasing the brake pedal? I release mine less than 1 sec after the motor reaches it's 5500rpm limit. The only time I have had a problem is when I when tried to raise the limit from 5500 to 6000 in the ecu or when I did not have it in "launch mode" and accidently "power braked" like I would a torque converter car, both times the chutch overheated, i get a warning to slow down on the dash and the car either creeps away from the launch or freewheels! That is the extent of my knowledge on the subject, sorry I could not help.
do you think maybe cuz i need a tune...i have a greddy tic and a aem intake i launch properly i take about 1 sec like u said but sadly no launch for me...i spoke to mitsubishi and they said that it sounds like i drove it to hard when i barely got the car. hopefully with a simple tune after intercooler piping and down pipe my cars ecu wud respond differently

Hey, I'm in Riverside frequently, how about we get together and ride in each others car under launch conditions. I'm not saying I can fix anything but I'm curious to find out how your car behaves compared to mine. If interested drop me a PM or an email.
