2 step launch.

All right guys, this is going to sound noobish, but I need the CORRECT way to do a 2 step launch. My car was tuned at AMS on the AEM EMS (wow alot of letters) and it is set up for it, but I can never get it to work. Right now the car make 546 awhp, and 506 torque with a Peakboost gt30R kit, snow performance methanol, buddy club 264/272 cams, Trust t1-r exhaust and 31 psi, stock block, stock head, minus cams, and ARP head studs.

You might just need to enable it in the AEM pro software. Set it off the clutch switch is what I did. Try the AEM sections of the forums also.

If it IS enabled in your EMS then:

Come to a complete stop
Clutch in
First gear
Full throttle -- should build around 10+psi
Quick slip of the clutch/launch the car - hold on and be ready for 2nd gear.

Good luck and DON'T DROP THE CLUTCH

I dump my clutch when i drag and its holding up just fine. Probably draged at least 15 times this year. The stock lines have a restricter pill in it.

Need to get some drag radials though tires spin off the line even when changing stationary limit. Cant find happy mediem

This entire action has to take only a fraction of a sec once begun so it is very close to dropping it but not quite.
