Launch control?
Launching off 2-step
I found it best to release clutch to point where just began to grab then push back in a hair, then mashing throttle to floor until I heard the whap-bop-bop of the 2-step, then release in a continuous motion until all the way released. The latter part was most important for me, because when i released it slow then faster as I released it the clutch got too hot too quick. And when I released too quick right off the drivetrain was hurt too quickly. But when clutch released with steady speed in a continuous motion I got best launch (ie lowest 60 foot times) with least stress to drivetrain. And I have broken a bunch of parts learning this...

Reflash the ECU
With readily available software flashes you can set launch control at whatever number your setup launches best at.
I like Al's ECU reflash from DynoFlash best for an overall inexpensive mail-in result, but shop around and you'll find many vendors able to teach you to do it yourself easily.
Once you have the ability to flash the ECU yourself you will see how tweaking it based on weather, track, etc. really improves speed and reliability...

Launching is simple.
Step 1: Stop
Step 2: Push in the clutch
Step 3: Put the car in first gear
Step 4: Let the clutch out to find where it engages and hold it just before that (it'll make it easier to slip/dump)
Step 5: Floor the gas, and hold it to the floor. You will start bouncing off the 2-step at 5000rpm and build around 10psi.
Step 6: DO NOT let off the gas pedal at ALL, slip out the clutch until you feel it grab, then let go.
Step 7: DO NOT let off of the gas pedal until you shift to 2nd gear. The gas pedal should be held to the floor from the beginning until you shift to 2nd.
Step 8: Continue shifting gears accordingly.
that's how i've always done it, and it was good enough to get me and my basically stock IX MR to 12.82 @ 107.41 with only a cat back, no tune, no other power adders, a boost leak, and a possibly slipping stock clutch.
