I feel the need to improve my driving. Anyone knows any events or driving schools in LA/OC area? Thanks.

Are you looking for a rally school? I believe that's what Ridgecrest is, and there aren't many rally schools each year. But there are other types of performance driving events. Check the CSCC Autocross Club for autocross races, practices, and schools. There was recently a VARA certification course (which allows any "safe" vehicle, not just classics). Best bet is to visit some track websites like Buttonwillow Raceway , Willow Springs Raceway and some track time events like Redline Events , NASA Pro Racing , and Racer Factory . There are also racing schools at California Speedway and in Ventura. That's just a few to get you started, there's plenty more happening every week.

I am looking for a track school, rally school will be nice, too. However, I am not into autocross.

Not into autocross? So you don't really want to know how to drive right? j/k Go to the Buttonwillow Raceway site, they have performance driving schools almost every month.
