Hey guys, my wife and I might be flying to LAX and driving to Santa Barbara for a few days for Easter. Could you guys tell me what things there are to do out there.
Are there any automotive things? Driving schools? I might have to sneek the automotive things in on the wife and play stupid.

Santa Barbara:

Stay at the San Ysidro Ranch. They'll keep you busy.

Go to the sb zoo and see the Giraffe with the funky neck.

Rent a ferarri or a Porsche at Budget Rent a car in Marina Del Rey, Midway car rental at LAX(or buy an Evo and return it on the 3 day recision law!) and drive up to the Los Olivos Hotel in Los Olivos for dinner.

Go to the beach........ it will be cold unless you get Santa Ana winds.

Go Scuba diving.

Lots of great hiking. Go to the Petersen Museum in Los Angeles, near the Los Angeles county museum of Art. Go have Dim Sum in China Town or Alhambra.

Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Magic Mountain, Santa Monica pier, Shopping out the wazoo, Sailing, drag racing at Fontana, Pomona, LACR. Tijuana Mexico- dog races. And San Diego..................... Horse racing at Santa Anita.

 

It was either last friday or the previous friday when USA Today had a lengthy article on Santa Barbara and what to do, where to eat, the winerys around etc.
