Questions for Al on Dynoflash an MR
Questions for Al on Dynoflash an MR
Hi Al,
After going through the forum and seeing the great results from other users I am sold on DynoFlash. I will have my MR within a couple of week, dealer said by the 15th. I see you will be in the Palm Beach area around the 20th. Will it be possible to tune the car if 'break-in' period is not over? I will go with the HKS RS intake, what downpipe and catback would you recommend? I want something will all the gains, but a little less noise is better if possible. I will buy them first so I will be ready for the re-flash. Do I need a boost control as well as the dynoflash?
Thanks in advance

Hey johnnytwothumbs
I know I am not Al but when i got my evo tuned i didnt have the boost controller, the boost dropped a lill bit after the tune. So installed the boost controller and it was a huge gain and I talked To Al afterwards and he told me he tunes the car for about 20-21 pounds of boost so by not having a controller you will not feel the full effects of the tune.

Once we get our hands on the first testing evo '05 version we will first determine IF our reflash equipment which we currently use is compatable with the '05 (fingers crossed)
If it is - meaning same ecu platform as 2003 and 2004 - then the next step is to send the ecu to Tokyo to get the base program extracted which takes about 2 weeks
Then we will start testing of the reflash on some customer cars
Then a couple of weeks later we will be sellling the flashes
At that point I would be able to offer you a through the mail flash ro maybe we can arrange another tuning trip to Florida
Thanks for your support
PS - I will be giving away free Dyno Flashes and Dyno tuning for a few '05 evo owners who can make their cars available for testing at Pruven in Milford, CT
