dynoflash w/ safc II

im planning on sending my ecu into dynoflash as soon as i get my cams and boost controller put in. my question is, do i still need to get an safc after the dynoflash? the reason im choosing to get my ecu reflashed is because i figure its a lot cheaper than having to pay for dyno time and tuning. but i see people on the forums have both dynoflashed ecu's and safc in their car. what is the advantage of having both?

The advantage to having both is when you put in some race gas and turn up the boost you have something to take fuel out with for more power.

It actually works out really good. If your getting the mail-in flash it's not going to be exact just a good ball park figure. Then after the flash go get your car fine tuned on the dyno to get the rest of the power out of it. I did this exact setup and with just doing the flash, 650's and fine tune on afc II, I got 30 hp and 40 tq!

The base flash gets you very close but a bit on the rich side so you have to make less correction % with the safc and can get the a/f dialed in without significantly altering the optimized Dyno Flash ign timing settings

Also you get boost cut removed and a better rev limit
