A very special thanks to DynoFlash

I just wanted to post a public thank you to Al for making my car run again. What makes it special is that he actually greatly assisted another tuner, and a chief competitor, to make it happen.

My car was mistakenly uploaded with 2003 ECU maps, thus killing it dead. Al assisted the other vendor in getting my car, and me back on the road late last night so I could make the 200 mile trek home.

He very much went out of his way to assist me, and for no good reason at all.

I have at times badmouthed Al, from back in the WRX days, and even on these boards. Al, I apologize, and I take it all back. I have also noticed that you have been going the extra mile to satisfy your customers, and I am sure that I am not the only one who has.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you,

Andy

Thanks man for your kind thoughts!

I've re-directed myself to place my customers first and I have put the race car, sponsorship BS, and magazine stuff on the BACK BACK burner. Those activities put too many demands on my time and left me stressed out, tired and short tempered. Simply out it was almost impossible to run the racing program I ran this summer, deal with all the racing related matters - e.g. lining up sponsors and traveling to races, etc. and run a customer service related business such as car tuning at the same time - ALL with one guy answering the phone and doing all the car preparation, tuning, transportation and driving.

I decieded to focus more time on my business and tuning and put the whole racing thing on ice for the time being. As of October 1, 2004 I have not touched my race car and I am sitting out the seasons's last race on October 31, 2004. I have noticed a great improvement in my tuning, and customer service now that I have taken those huge demands and stress off of my plate.

In order to continue with a full time racing program next year, I will prob have to recruit some assistance as its clear that the rcing thing and Dyno Flash are two much for one guy to run at the same time.

Thanks
