I'm really hopeing we can get this thing going for the atlanta trip. I'm gettting mod fever and I don't wanna drive around an untuned car. It's just not the cool thing to do. hahahah. I'm hopeing I'll have everthing in time for the custome tune. that would be really nice. all I need is cams, cam gears, fuel pump, head studs. so that shouldn't be to hard to gather up in the next couple of weeks. plus the money for the tune. either way I'm gonna get it custom tuned or flashed by Al.

Heck ya, that would be pretty cool if you brought out your beast. I would love to see your car in action. I'll try to bring some race gas. if so I'll give you some race gas if you could find the time to take me for a ride in your car. That would be very very incredible. It could be a belated birthday present. ((my b-day was monday)) hahahahhah. thanks

Few sane people would enjoy a ride in my car on the road. The traction is quite limited and the acceleration renders the experience anything but enjoyable. It feels like being launched out of a rail gun.

If I didnt dream of going 9.99 without NOS - I would certainly start de-tuning my car at this point as I have discovered there IS a point where you can start to have too much power that renders the car practically useless

Cars with large turbos are not very good at partial boost running - - the thing spools so quickly and violently that you better be pointed in the proper direction when it hits or its game over

Ok...... where gonna have to stop talking about this. I'm get way to excited

I can't even image it. I was at dyno4mance for one of the dyno days and there was 2 cars having the vishnu stage 3 installed. both cars where around 420whp (dyno dynamics) and when shiv took off it look like a rocket ship. I can only image what your car would be like. hope to talk to you soon.

We need to get something set up. We have some people in NC that want to get this done, but we are having a tough time getting everyone to reply and step up. I think if we had a date for the tune, we probably would have people showing up out of the wood work.

boostfed: You are about as close to Hickory NC as you are to Atlanta, you could join up with the NC group and we can help us get this thing going, if the Atlanta trip doesnt pan out. Or maybe we can join groups together. Atlanta is about 3 hours from Hickory. I think you Atlanta guys would have fun up here on Saturday night on hwy 70.

where at is Hickory NC. It only takes me about 3 1/2 to 4 hours to get to ATL. It takes me about 5 hours to get to NC. I'll mapquest to the area of Hickory NC and see what the differences are. If it isn't much I'll just come out to NC to make things easier on everyone. I am really excited about getting the flash. I just installed my BR 3" turbo back exhaust ( w/test pipe), and this car just absolutley screams now. I don't know if its good or not. but now when I shift into 2nd it barks the tires. I'm not shifting any different. it's done it 3 times already since saturday. I'm on the stock clutch and the car only has about 3700 miles on it. oh well I'll back with yall on that in a few mins.

EDIT: i just checked and it's gonna be about 5 1/2 hours to Hickory, NC and ATL is about 4 hours. So, I guess I'll just go with the flow and if the ATL get together doesn't happen I'll come out to NC. it's about 350+ miles to NC. It's only about 220miles to atl.

Thats suprising I would have thought we would have been closer. I guess not. You should be able to make the 350 miles in good time. It is all I-40. The speed limit is 65 or 70 most of the way. Hickory is right off of I-40. I have myself and 2 others confirmed for sure, ready to put up the deposit to get Al down here. If you add 1 more to our group, and would be able to put up a deposit, that would make 4 for us for sure. I have one other person that is 90%, I think he will put up a deposit also, and that would make 5.

Are you available to come to Hickory on November 19th and/or 20th if it works out??

well. If I don't do cams and camgears I could just get tuned for the parts I have now. I guess it would still be worth getting tuned for that. I don't plan on driving the car much this winter. So, doing the cams would not serve any purpose besides just having them installed. I really wish I could get tuned for them and I still might try to get them before then. I'm still not gonna say yes or no yet. I have to see how my work is gonna do. I do construction work and I have to be pretty carefull during the fall and winter. just give me a week or so and I'll see how my money turns out. I still might be down for a flash for the simple fact that I want have to send out my ecu for 3 days. I'll stay in touch. don't worry I'm not gonna leave yall hanging.

Cool. I can get you some 264 cams if you need some. My friend has 1 set of 264/264 HKS cams left. He is selling them for $560 shipped if you need to get some. If you need someone to install them, I can do that for you. You would be better of to get it tuned for the cams if you are getting cams soon. I don't think you need cam gears, not unless you just like the look of them. HKS recommends for the most power to leave them at 0 degrees. HKS cam gears help if you are trying to tweek the most top end power from you stock cams or trying to smooth out your idle if you have HKS cams. But Al, has a new technology that makes the HKS cams idle like stock, I think he call it the Idle Flash or something like that. I highly recommend the cams though.
