Al jsut curious and check to make sure your wideband its the Ultimate Racing test pipe as one I used in the past did, and the recent one I tried didnt? I have some ?s about my emanage and others as well too.

 

So is this happening in NC only? I have an AMS gt35r kit I would like to get tuned. I can make it to Atlanta. I am in Montgomery right now. If I could get a flash that would be sweet.

Hey Al, let me know when your coming and where you are gonna stay.... I have recieved quite a few requests for directions to my house from people coming out of state and some coming from NC. It looks like we may have a good crowd. I know some people around here who are just getting the base flashes.... When do you plan on doing the base flashes?? There are people asking me what time to show up on Saturday.

Anytime after 9 am is good with me. We can shoot the $hit and all while Al is tuning up some rides.

Are you going to have your car up and running?? There are alot of people that would love to see it!!!!

Al,

How are you going to deal with the people that are wanting base flashes that haven't paid deposits. Are you still going to be able to give them the base flash tunes if they pay in full on Saturday?? Are you just going to work them in between custom tunes??

Also, I would be willing to bet you haven't seen a place like Hickory on Friday and Saturday nights. It is an absolute nut house. There are 100's of imports and domestics driving down Highway 70 in the middle of town. They race from every stop light, it is unreal. Just about any place you stay in Hickory will put you right in the middle of all the racing action. People come from a 100 miles away just to enter in some of the stop light drag races. It is real entertainment.

I hope I can tune a STI or two and then we can race the STI vs. EVO in an informal fashion - no takers yet on the STI tune

I have no clue when I will be there - I am doing some tunes on the way - and I guess I will get there late the night before

Anyone who wants a base flash - just come on down - we'll get them done ! BUT - seriously consider the custom tune - its only 225 more - well worth every penny

 

**** - all the more reason to TRY and get my car running ! I will start on it tomrrow !

As for the base flashes - I'll do them at some point - it only takes about 10 - 12 minutes per - just show up with $175 and your in !

 

I have a race lined up for you if you come down with the Evo!!! It is a 2003 Z06 with an ATI Procharger. He says there is no Evo that can beat him.... I hope you get it back together. I know a place 20 minutes from my house that sells C16 if need be...

Do you think you will have time to do more custom tunes.. If people change from mail in tunes to custom tunes??

Al I gave you a call today. If you can't make it to Atlanta I might consider driving to NC. I have

AMS GT35R kit with IC pipes and full exhaust, Excedy tripple disk clutch
660 cc injectors, fuel pump, aps IC, SAFCII, AVC-R. Even if I just did a base flash to get rid of boost cut and maybe scale for injectors or something. I wouldn't mind a custom tune either. Oh, would you recommend the HKS EIDS for the tial BOV or is that fixed with a flash?

The car is going to run like crap with a MAF sesnor and just the stock ecu - the hks thing will help

Atlanta aint looking too good unless we pick up a few more guys - maybe I will set up a seperate trip there in a week or two and just fly in

 

What's your paypal account again? Or where can I find it I should say. I use an AFC to tune not just completely stock ecu hehe. It runs decent right now at WOT. I just need some partial throttle tuning which I don't know how to do. Oh and as I put in the previous post I have a wideband for tuning and software. I might need a computer as mine runs like *** and keeps shutting off.

A few points

I can not get the idel good with that large turbo and a tial bov - I can make it better but its not going to be like stock - no way

I can tune it well on pump gas to 450 whp or so

I can get you a custom tune - no problem - we will have time - I think the last sopt is open and I can stay longer till everyone is done
