Avoid TX's MBC at all costs on evos - they have too much of an air leak built into them through the bleeder holes which results in very uneven boost

I prefer the Hallman Pro

The Turbo smart may be a good dual stage unit - I have not tested it yet

Cool, I would like to do a dual tune, and be able to easily adjust between high boost and stock boost. Will look at the turbo smart.

I like the way a friend has his turbo mroadster setup. He runs low boost, if he starts to lose in a race, he can hit a button and it puts the high boost setting up. ie he is at 18psi on c-16, but can bump it to 22psi if he needs to, and while this is a safe psi, he runs lower for longevity and to have something in reserve. It's really quick to hit a button, but takes a while to rotate a knob a specific amount.

That's why I like my HKE EBC V.

It has 2 presets. I set 'A' at 19psi for street driving (on 93oct). I set 'B' to 22psi for the track (on 100oct).
There is also a button for "Scramble" mode. Push it and it adds a prescribed amount of boost
for 15sec (or is it 10).

Also, the limit feature has saved me. Mine is set to 24.5psi.
If for some reason I spike past that for too long, the EBC throws the WG wide open.
I saw it work once on Pruven's dyno.

What Mike said, thats why I decided to keep mine until I install stand alone. It is by far the nicest and easiest to use.Just turn it off and walaa, only 12 psi,set "A" boost level to drive around on low octane and "B" for high boost and you can adjust in about 2 seconds for when it gets cool outside to lower your boost. Also when mine gets crazy and spikes to over 24.5 it pops w/g wide open and back to 12psi in like 1 second to prevent costly damage .To each his own,but if you have the spare $$$$$,IMHO go for the EVC 5

the hks is especially nice IF you get one that has the offet function (PSI version) - otherwise they spooltoo slowly
