Case study # 20 - 2005 RS with Dyno Flash and MBC
Well - I was having a MR hard on for the past few days and then wham - today we had two MR's here and then at the end of the day a new 2005 RS
The new RS is bad ***
It seems all 2005 Evos have the active diff like the MR - only difference is that the non MR get a 5 speed instead of a 6 speed
It seems all the new evos get a upgraded shift linkage b/c the shifts are much better and the action on the shifter is improved
The RS is not for everyone - its uper loud with no insulation in the trunk area - BUt for those who are hard core - its much lighter and better handling than the MR
Here is my Dyno Flash and Hallman MBC on an otherwise stock 2005 RS
Amazing results !
The '05 Dyno Flash is working very well
Thats 304.5 tq ft-lbs on a car with a 100% stock exhuast and air box - not bad !
20 psi - 93 octane pump gas

Al,
Unbelievable difference in upper end power and the smoothness of power delivery. You guys are right, it may not be too long before I take it to the limit of the stock turbo. Out of curiosity, properly driven, what kind of quarter mile times would this setup be capable of?
Thanks, once again . awesome job

Add an exhuast and a full intake and you will be in the low 12's
