Most Accurate boost gauge to run?

I just had my car dynotuned by AL at pruven and it was reading 3psi high now i just want a gauge that i know is going to be dead on all the time no BS. I think i heard the Greddy mech gauges were good please back this up. I dont want to spend 400 for a defi and control unit i think that is crazy! Is the Blitz DC series boost gauge good i know of one i can get cheap with control unit.

Thanks
Justin

Also if anyone has any for sale let me know

I've got a Defi D boost gauge which I thought was accurate, but my new Blitz boost controller is reading about 1 psi lower. Not sure which is right

Defi D series or other mechanical boost gauge is most accurate in my experience

I just tested my Autometer Cobalt series electric boost gauge. It uses a GM MAP sensor to feed the vacuum/boost signal to the meter. For a long time I suspected it was off. I was wrong. To test it I bought an accurate mechanical guage from McMaster for $17.09. The mechanical gauge I purchased, although not NIST certified, is accurate to +/-1%. After some initial half-assed testing on the road it turns out that the Autometer gauge and the mechanical gauge agree to within 1psi or so.

Having said all that, I'd prefer to find a good D-series gauge that is accurate to match my other gauges. The one I ordered was screwed up so I sent it back.

Boost gauges not using a map sensor are generally not accurate, especially at higher boost levels. Anyone using an aem ems or other standalone using a map sensor and logging boost will notice this.

Zeitronix has a combo wideband/map sensor(uses same as aem) egt and lamda unit that works really well.

This product has other threads on it too: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...threadid=29658

I am very happy with mine and am almost done with a c/h style panel with 2 60mm gauges angled on each side and the zeitronix display flush mounted in the middle.
