Ihave seen this thread before.

Why are their more 264I/272E and less 272Iand 264E I would think that the 17 to 62 ratio would tell you that more people choose to go with 264I and 272E. REMEMBER THIS IS JUST MY OPINION BUT I HAVE NEVER SEEN REALLY GOOD RESULTS FROM ANY OF MY PREVIOUS FRIENDS CARS WHO TRIED THE 264E and 272I.. They all said go 264/264 or 264/272 or at last 272/272 .

yours is just a different combo that I have seen other friends of mine try and advise against it.

my car made 273 hp on 91 oct on the vishnu DD dyno with the 272/264 combo.

303hp on 100 oct.

These numbers seemed normal for cars with Stage 1+ setup using any of the hks cam combos.

I don't think there are really big differences between any of the combos.

OK 272i/264e is not a very popular combo. But it works for me and one of my friends who is already running 11.9. the only difference between my car and his an AEM EMS, BOV and he had his engine honed. whatever that is. I'll agree that the idle was rough and stalls at times, but the power curve is great and i still tear up my bro who has the 264 combo.

 

do 264/272. I'm happy with it in my car and i made good power. I know it works due to my timeslips.
