Well I got mine today and I must say for 200 bucks you can't go wrong. I just got back from Stamford and i will say Al is a professional that cares about his customers car. Maybe because he is a evo owner himself but the love he shows for the car is definitly there. So once again go with the basic flash until you have mods. This little inexpensive mod let's really enjoy the car stock the way it should be until you have the $'s to really afford to mod it

The new '05 turbo is really an amazing unit - super good results with even just a base flash on a stock '05

BUT - all you need to do is buy a 05 compressor housing and turbine housing to covert your 03 or 04 to the same protential . . . or better still wait for the Buschur Racing 20 G upgrade to come out !

Hey Dynoflash, I pm'd you yestderday about this but I should have seen this quote before I asked you. But when you say exactly the same results is that really true? Do the '05s have different cam figures as far as lift and duration?

Hey Al,

I have a Dynoflash on my 2003 Evo (Actually the wifes). I really love it. Well, I just bought a 2005 Evo 8 (tired of borrowing the wife's Evo) and want to do the same thing.

What would be the best bet for a stealthy setup? I'm thinking a flash by mail, boost controller, and a buschur exhaust (either cat back or axle back). I don't think my dealer would bother me too much with that setup, and I can remove the boost controller if need be during service visits.

Looks like just the flash and boost controller nets me about 290whp? Based on your familiarity with the Buschur stuff, is the Cat Back that much better than the Axle back if I'm going to keep the stock cat and dp for a while? Dave's Dyno thread seems to indicate that the axle back netted about 15hp. That'd be great if I can get ~300whp with just your $200 flash, a $90 BC, and a $250 axle back. Sound feasible with an 05?

I pick the car up on Monday. Then its break in, and then I'll be calling you.

Thanks.

-Dave
