Thats awsome Al!! I wish I knew how you did it, i couldn't scrape together 5 guys to get you out here. I am really glad though. Can you do a cam install when you are here? I will get my deposit in early next week! BTW - with a BR stage 1 and a pump what cam combination would you recommend?

Really looking forward to meeting you,

Dustin Johnson

Yes - I can install your cams for you no sweat - although I take about 3 hours on it so we will prob do it on Friday night. Without a doubt i recomend the 264 cams along with the new style Buschur MAF tube - this gives you a idle like stock.

Just pay pal the depoist and pick your time for the tuning

I will do all the cam installs - if any - on Friday night and I charge $300 for the job which is a bit higher than som, but I do a very slow methodical and super careful job which takes me a full 3 - 4 hours

I have not worked out the location yet - first trying to see if we can get some guys signed up

Come on guys, we have to be able to put together 5 people who want to take advantage of this offer!! Jesus, every other city gets 50 posts in the first few days, is Phoenix that SH*TY of a city that we don't have 5 EVO guys (or gals) who want to push their evo's to their potential?!?!?! I am going to really push for this Al, I will be out in full force this weekend at the shows drumming up people for this event. Lets make this happen Phoenix , we may not get this chance again for quite some time!

I'll make you all a deal; lets get the people together for this and I will volunteer my house and BBQ (and a case of beer) if we can get at least 5 guys together, plus I have some of the best empty roads near my house to do the tuning. I'll have my deposit in this week, who's next?

Angry Phoenix Sucks My A$$!!!!!

This has to be a bad dream; I live in the 5th largest city and in 1 week we can't get 5 people to step up and sign up for a DynoFlash day?!? California had their day filled in less than 24 hours!! The truth is Al shouldn't come here, this has to be insulting to someone of his caliber and reputation, jesus, every other ****ing city sells out right away. What do we have to do to get some people involved, I'll offer my house, my food, my beer, and unlimited roads for tuning, what more do we need.

Al if we don't get enough people to sign up in the next few days, please cancel, I don't want to see you waste your time, but know I will drive to another city to get the work done by you. I will be out at the shows this weekend in full force doing my best to get people there.

Thoroughly embarassed to live here (all 28 years), I can't believe I defend this city.

LOL chill dude, there are other tuners in phoenix (Dynocomp). Although they can't reflash yet. People in phoenix just don't want a good tune I guess. I could use another tune after my cams

Its no sweat guys . . . . we have at least one guy for sure and a couple of others asking questions

If we can get 2 or 3 more firm depoists we can do this trip

For those interested in this now is the time to act - thanks

I am definately in, I got some 264 cams on Wed that need to be installed and tuned. I will have the funds for the deposit and install next week. On a different note...what do you guys know about the ECUTEK being available for the evo in Feb? The major ECUTEK tuners in PHX are saying that the software will be available in FEB. Phx guys may be holding out for that. Who know! I think I'll be done with mods after the cams and flash.

I am a Ecutek dealer also. I am curious to see the capabilities of the new Ecutek based Evo platform and I will certianly be offering that flashing platform as an alternative to the regular Dyno Flash I now have. The current Dyno Flash is very resoanably priced, very well tested and has a very good track record with the 1,000 plus ecus that I have flashed to date. I see the Ecutek as a higher priced but possibly more adjustable and configurable system. However, until the details are released its all just speculation.

Of course, the main advantage in my humble oppinion of having myself on site to tune your evo is my year and a half of experience reflashing evos on a daily basis and over 400 custom tuned evos under my belt. In tuning there is no substitute for real world hands on experience. Regardless of the platform used - the settings are what makes the tune.
