Broken Alcohol Injection Pump

AL,

I just received your Alcohol Injection Kit and when I opened the package the pump that was connected to the Intercooler Sprayer Resevoir has been snaped.

Here are some pictures

When I opened the package It look like this inside the box

Here are some more close up pics:

Please let me know if you can send in a replacement unit by tommorow.

Also let me know where to ship out the broken part.

I hope you can help me out, the car is in the shop and I need this kit asap, my car is my daily driver.

Thank You

I hope so too evo81, I was pretty excited in installing the kit...

I also noticed that the pump is just floating, meaning the only support it has is the plastic water line connected to the metal fitting. There is about 1.50inch gap on the intercooler sidewall resevoir and the pump. It should have something inbetween so that it would with stand hard launches.

Question

How would one read the pressure gauge from that location?

Evo Doer,

The only way you can read the pressure gauge is to jack the car up, remove the driver side under tray.

Maybe instead of using pc paper it would be better off to use bubble wrap

The units are very securly packaged. All the electrical parts are bubble wraped and the tank is sufficently secured as well. I would think that it would take someone throwing the box off a 4 story building to cause the pump to snap like that. Although I seriously doubt that this unit was damaged in shipping - - it will be replaced anyway, becuase that is the kind of company that Dyno Flash is. My own personal opinion is that the unit was dropped onto a hard floor when it was out of the box by someone who was installing it.

However, I just wanted to take a moment to comment on the idiocy of the internet. I get tons of parts in here every day, if one is broken i shipping or otherwise - I would CALL or email or PM the vendor and say "Hey somthing was broken in shipping can you give me a call?" Thats how you handle a situation like that. I think the customer posting this thread in the first place was ill advised.

The fact that these Turbo Tricks supporters Evo Doer and his pal Weschester who ever have nothing better going on in their miserable lives than to come on my section of the forums and make idiotic remarks about my product is very telling about what kind of people they are. I would strongly suggest that both of you get a life - find something more rewarding to do with your short time here than hate on others.

Evo Doer - I am running a business here - I dont want your remarks about pedofiles and other inappropriate comments on my section of the forums. If you care to make such thoughts known - I suggest you post them in the Turbo tricks forum or in the Off Topic - thanks.

While you are at it with your digital camera - please take a few shots of the BOX that the unit was delivered in and email them to me at info@dynoflash.com and also advise me if you noted any damage on the box when it was recieved and if you notified fed ex of this - thanks
