Tales of the Dyno - Buschur Stage 4

Here is a 2005 RS with the complete Buschur Stage 4 kit with the more quiet Magna Flow muffler and 93 octane pump gas

Just about the best street driving Evo I have driven - perfect power band - crisp feeling and a sheer joy to drive. The idle is as stock even with the 264 cams. You would not know the car is modified until you step on the gas.

The car is a hoot to drive. Just about hazing the tires through 2nd gear. I can't wait to get some race fuel in there and turn up the boost. Drivability is very good for the power being made. Excellent.

Is that a "buschur flash" or a ''dynoflash'' tune ? /// would a 03 run 10-15 hp less with the same parts , due to the newer turbo ? btw Al you got to come to NC SOON

It is a custom tune by Al. It is set at 21 psi w/Hallman MBC, but bleeds to 20 psi at redline.

AL,
What do you think that set up would run with 272's and alky kit? Just wondering what I have to look forward to.

Al-- Do you do your custom tunes any differently for someone who is going to run sustained high RPMs in autocrossing like Mark, versus someone that is mainly interested in brief blasts of max power on the street or 12 seconds at a time (1/4 mile)?

Thbis tune was set up differently as Mark is an auo crosser - peak numbers are a bit higher as a result than a typical street driver
