installed mbc ????

Question installed mbc ????

The car is faster but It is not as smooth as with out the mbc I like the car better with out the mbc but I pulled on the guy with the STI pretty good. I hope the new flash for the tbe and the fuel pump will smothe it out. and is it safe to run 20 psi or shuld I put it on 19 psi thanks T.

I am the guy in Hawaii I sent you a pm a week ago I have the 3inch Bushcur tbe and your base flash I just installed the mbc you sent me. I am waiting to send you the ecu for the fuel pump and I had the question. A will it make more power b. will It smooth out the slight hesatation in the rpm band under wot. Oh and I just throu a cel .no I dont have a reader so I dont know what it could be. any Idea? Thanks Ted. P.S I have a K&N panel filter.

What kind of boost gauge do you have ?

What boost are you running ?

auto meeter for the boost gauge and it is set on 20 psi I have some 100 oct race gas in the car tho.yes I know the gauge is a pos. The cel came on while driving slow no boost at all from start up just went down the street to get some gas.

Ok - get the code read and see what that is for - that may be part of your problem

After you do that get back to me

Also - try running it at 18 psi and see if that helps or makes it worse and let me know - thanks

update. car did not thro a cel today turned the boost down to 16 psi did not have time to adjust it thou. car ran fine no prob and it was smooth so I will put it at 18psi was hoping for a little more power.

update : cel came back on it is only its po420 so can you ellimenate the cel with the re flash. thanks Ted

p0420 is the rear O2 sensor code.
It means that the front and rear O2 sensors are seeing the same (or too close) a reading of O2 in the exhaust flow.
It's the code that means that your cat has stopped working.
Normally the stock cat will slow down the exhaust enough so that the rear O2 will read lower O2 than the front.
The ECU expects a certain minimum difference in the front and rear O2 readings.
There is an electrical fix; and there is a mechanical fix - see my sig for that.
