Ideal adjustment/ How too?

How can I rase the ideal up from 850rpm to 900-950ish ? I adjusted the BISS screw on the T-body and the ECU droped it back down after a while . Any help ?

Thanks

I haven't tried to adjust my idle on my Evo yet, but on my 4G63 in my Talon you turn the Biss counter-clockwise to raise the idle. Clockwise to reduce the idle. Try it.

On my Talon it took several turns to achieve the idle I wanted. It would go up to about 1300 RPM and then settle down to 900-1000 RPM within the next day or so. Again, I am not 100% sure how our Evo's will react.

just a thought but the evo idle might be self correcting from the ecu, maybe.

if you are turning that screw it might be changing the idle temporay, but you might also be changing another setting.

Your idle is bad due to your boost leak and hks bov - resolve those and you will have a fine idle

Yep, since Sunday I did find another leak and fixed it , and replaced the hks unit with the stocker . Waiting for the mr bov's to get off back order . But still would like to raise up the ideal rpm to 900-950ish.

This is one of the reasons why i do NOT recoemdn the 272's on street driven cars.

On your paticular car the idel flash feature was not compatable due to 0300 code issues so I had to remove that and it leaves you with a rough and unpleasant idel.

Fix the boost leaks and your vacume will pick up sluight and the idel will come back to speed - but never be great
