I have been giving this kit some serious thought lately. The owner of Alamo Autosports has it on his car and with race gas makes 500+whp. On pump he makes 420ish-430ish. I don't know what his boost is set at but I hear it's set low since he drives it everyday and races it I believe, so there's more potential for sure. A few other Evo's in the area run that kit also and they are pretty happy with it.

Al do you feel like the stock internals will not hold this kit and 30psi very well because this is the same kit ive been looking at but not for sure if i want to go all out and build the bottom end but do you feel with flash that the bottom end will hold hold 25psi with alcohol comfortably hold up to this kit because i think with this kit and 25psi would put me close to the tens

Any Turbo kit on the EVO is really a Bottom end build up at least it should be done couse sooner or later somethign will snap when u go 11 something or 10 something when i get an intercooler we would hit 25 psi and we would be close to 500 whp but i dont want to do that couse i need to build my bottom end now before i boost 30 plus

How was the install job, did everything fit perfectly? Were there any snags in the install. Do you have any pictures under the car, that would show the new stubby downpipe that hooks up to the old exhaust. I was curious as to what how the exhaust hooks back up... Any good close up engine pictures would be cool too.

Do you have the 8cm2 or 10 cm2 exhaust housing? I have this turbo with 10cm2 exhaust housing and I get LOT'S of back pressure when running more than 25 psi over 6000 rpm. Have you noticed this problem?

I would think with the bigger housing you'd get less backpressure no?

Maybe its just me, but I don't see 420awhp as pushing the stock internals. I have always thought of this power level being pretty damn safe since a stock turbo car can hit close to that mark w/ all bolts, racegas, and an AEM.

Do you know what the difference between the 2 kits GReddy sells? They have a 25g/TD06, and a 25g/T67. Power? Spool? What the difference?
