Hey Al. I have been reading up and am looking at getting the mail in reflash next month. Since i will be out of town and the car will be parked this is the best time to get it done. The only mod i have right now is the k&n typhoon. I will be upgrading around the same time to the stage 1 bushcur, walbro 255, and hallman mbc. Now if i send in b4 i get these upgrades can you still tune the car for them and will it run ok for me until i get the mods on? This should be the following week of my return home. Also are you still experiencing difficulties with the k&n? I have had no problems other than the retarding timing up top. Please lmk so i can plan one way or another.

Ture - I have yet to see a case whre it was not a nice gain -BUT - sell that K & N and get the Helix intake !

 

Hey guys. I already read the info on the k&n...actually ive been debating pulling it off for a bit now. I have no worries about the gains. I am sure they will be there. i was just curious about the gap in time between tuning and getting the parts on since i didnt want to get a flash for stock, do my upgrades a week or two later and then send the ecu back again for another flash. If there is no problem with that, then i will just have to order the new intake and get ready to send the ecu off next month.

 

Oh yeah. where is the best place to get the helix? Gruppe S?

Hey evo81. I have posted a while back in the mile long vegas thread....just not too much time i could get online until recently again. I have been invited to the meet several times, but it is hard for me to stay out too late since i work at 5am.
