Al, I installed my re-flash this weekend. You smoothed the idle a little on the GSC cams, sounds pretty good. Power seems to be there too, just need to open it up a little. Every time I tried this weekend the cops seemed to be there just waiting for me to open her up! I'm running about 20 psi right now on 93, think I'll wait till you're here to go any higher.

really stupid saying this but someone told me to get a dynoflash! so that I can get a better gas mileage! and of course HP!
Again! this Turbo thingy is very new to me! but very interested nonetheless!

I dont know if I'm right? but dynoflash will correct timing in different rpms!
which at end, will burn fuel better. also, lean out where its rich in fuel!
I've heard 30+ MPG from some folks on this site!
but again! with 7000mile evo, warranty is still important to me!

hey erioshi... how's your evo? last time i remember, you only had the exede and a cat back... i think, with the jic suspension... how are things now? i had that other black evo when we first met with the jdm evo 7 taillights and my brother has the blue sti... mine's bnack to stock with just the s-afc ii now because of a bad installation (my own fault). should've strapped that blow off valve and boost controller on tighter... oh well.
Hey there! It's been a while and I've wondered how things were going for you. - I don't want to hijack, but here's the mod list as of today:
K&N Typhoon intake (not sure if I like it yet), HKS 280 cams (again - not sure if they are better than my old cams), fully ported head with oversized valves and upgraded springs and retainers, ported intake manifold to match the oversized intake runners on the head, stock turbo with 10.5 hotside and some mild porting to match the housting and exhaust manifold, my 3" turbo back exhaust (from before) now with a cat delete, XEDE + XEDE falsh for my ECU, and a walbro 225.
That covers power. I have an appointment with Ron at RS tomorrow morning for some dyno time to get everything tuned. My last trip was 310 whp with my old cams and a leaking head gasket.
Other changes are: Carbotech XP-8 brake pads on all 4 corners, brake cooling guides, ATE super blue fluid, TDR Pro Race 1 rims for street use, brass underhood shifter bushings, hard urathane shifter base bushings, stainless clutch and brake lines with the clutch restrictor removed, Stroth 4 point harnesses for driver and passenger, and a Vishnu rear under-car diffuser (due to be modded for some minor improvements).
My old JIC coilvers are dead - the left front blew out; I have some new Zeal Function Xs coilovers that should arrive early next month. Also on the upgrade list is the front diff, I'm planning on installing one of the Quafe units RRE is having built. Other than that I have some new 17x9" TDR Pro Race 1.2 rims on order and will be getting some shaved 255/40-17 Toyo RA-1s to go on them for track days. Oh, and I have a Vortex generator that I need to stick on.

awesome. budget's been VERY tight on me... being that my girlfriend is around, and she's in school with no job... well, she currently is a chiroprator's assistance, but he's not getting any business so he's letting her go.
yeah, i'll most definitely let you know when i DO get stuff again. i didn't tighten my BOV and boost controller enough and lost it on the highway last winter... sadly. the car sputtered and died. i so freaked out. i was on 94 towards minneapolis around cretin/vandalia exit for about 3 hours.
and do you remember the 40 car pile up two years ago? i think i might have something to do with that one... hahaha kinda blizzardy weather, but i was still going about 65-70 right pass the mentioned area again. there were a bunch of cars, and when i got to highway 280, there was nothing coming behind me. i WAS zipping pass every car making some tight squeezes here and there, but hey! i was running late for a job interview, so it's undersatandable. if you know anyone who's looking for contract security or bodyguard work, hahaha, lemme know. i'm getting sick of the industry, and i definitely need a higher paying job.
good to know you're doing well with your car. have you hung out with the subaru guys lately? i hear matt's STI is totally beefed up.
besides that, i dunno if i've gotten my s-afc II on correctly cause i hear yuo're supposed to be gaining MPG with it under correct settings, but i'm not noticing anything at all. oh well... maybe one day i can afford to get things installed professionally. talk to you later mike.
