Are you planning to get a dyno or just do the road tunes?

I can do either. However, I find that for those who run 91 octane it is hard to beat a real street operation to test for the knock threshold and dial in the smoothest, knock free tune. In past experince in california - with 91 octane - I like to drive the car for about 2 hours and test carefully up and down hills under vareying load to make sure the car is not knocking.

When tuning on the dyno - you can have a 100% perfect sheet - go to the road and detonate like crazy due to the variation in the load on the street.

I can arrange dyno tuning for those who prefer / need it

I'm down for either one. I have a friend who owns a shop w/ a dyno or we can do a road test. The road test makes more sense though! I never understood them but now i get it. thanks Al. I'll let you know when we have enough people.

What are the costs of road tune vs. dyno tune?

Those who are interested in getting tuned, I highly recommend it. I got custom tuned the last time Al was here in Socal. I love the way the car runs. I'm gonna need a re-flash though. I've changed my intake, taking off my FPR and hopefully have cams, cam gears, exhaust manifold and a 10.5 hotside before Al gets here. I can't wait!

When is this gonna be?
I'm interested in getting custom tune on Dyno.

BTW, Al, can you custom tune on 100octane gas?

I'm in!

When is this going to be? Al, I have an Ecutek flash right now but it knocks sometimes, would you be willing/able to re-tune this? If so, how much? I'm interested in a road tune. Thanks!

100 octane is a breeze and so are alcohol kits. 91 octane is the nightmare. Working out a way to get the car to run smooth and knock free on 91 octane while making power is something that some times can take quite a few attempts and a lot of balancing fuel and timing. I have tuned over 150 evos in LA on 91 octane and another 50 in other 91 octane locations - UT and AZ, I would really not recomend dyno tuning at all on 91 octane - road tune is key to properly and accurately load the car.
