Tune diff between High Flow Cat and Test pipe

Stupid question.

what is the effect of putting a test pipe on the car versus a high flow cat, does it cause a change in the afr's, and does it require a reflash?

Also, will a lower intercooler pipe require a retune?

1) Yes
2) Yes
3) Yes

1) you'll be running richer after a test pipe compared to a high flow car therefore a lower A/F ratio.
2) if you want to compensate for the richness and gain about 10whp, you'll want to get reflashed
3) lower IC pipe will require a tune if you want to see gains.

That's what I was thinking, but was wanting confirmation. The part about the licp, is the spool being lowered slightly, that's the part I really want to see.

I think the answer to #3 is no, but I'm not sure. The lower piping will not effect A/F ratios is what I have heard.

Of course it will.

Larger diameter, more flow to turbo, quicker(earlier) spool up, "more horsepower", etc. I had my car reflashed for a LICP, but has not been fabricated yet, so my Evo is running a bit rich right now. Should be good once the licp is on.

I noticed no change in my a/f ratio after licp install. I did notice 200-300rpm quicker spool though.
