I run a 50%/50% mix of 93octane/VP109 (105 octane). I tried nearly 100% VP109 but it did not help my MPH. With 91 and 100 octane you will probably want to run at least 20%/80% 91/100 respectively if you are running more than 24psi especially with stock studs. From what I have read, detonation could cause the stock head studs to stretch.

 

Yes on race gas. Did you ever do it on the stock studs? For how long?
