Why Al has not been congratulated!

Yo people you are really amazing, Al makes it to the final of the Shootout and ends up being the runner up and no-one in his forum says anything to him! Come on people, we dont have to praise him every time he makes our cars go faster, we have to praise him also on those accomplishments as well, damn.

Al good job and sadly you lost to Victor's car, but when you bring your car to race we'll see a rematch! Take care and have fun tuning while I work to see what I can do to bring your car here and get this event working. Any chance you can talk to your sponsors about a re-match here so they can help out with the costs of traveling/lodging and moving your car?

Let me know on this, Im doing my best as well.

Thanks guys, this means a lot to me after a literal marathon week from hell to try and make the best showing at this race.

Only two days ago I was sitting in my garage with my car in peices thinking I would not even make the show.

It was foolish of me to even attempt to transformn my car's set up twice in two weeks but somehow in some sick fashion I crave the challenge.

Last week's GT37R based "Blue Zombie" set up was pulling down consistant 10.2 - 10.4 times - even with a cracked intake manifold and a collant leak in the head.

I had to try and step it up big for the local race and shoot for some records.

By the time I got back from Ohio I had four days to get the car swapped over to the new set up and tuned. I did not finsih the job till 1:00 a.m. the night before the race.

At the track, the car would not run properly and after swapping out various spare ignitions, BV mechanic Georgie was the one who diagnosed it as a bad spark plug,

Then I busted a coolant hose and had to run to town to buy some new hose - 45 minutes later and I am ready to start tuning my new set up.

It was a lot of work to make the show and a hard day of racing also.

If I had A few more qualifying passes to dial in the tune I may have faired better at the end of the day.

The main thing for this event was that I never gave up no matter how long the odds and also that I learned many valaubel lessons.

Thanks to my customers for your support.

Al, you are having a good year and you can't win them all. As long as you give it your best shot. You were in there with some stiff competition and made it to the final...very good day indeed.
