10.5 Hotside add significant power for flash users?

Hey Al, I am looking to get a flash pretty soon and I am wondering if us 03 Evo owners would see any significant gains from adding a 10.5 Hotside and maybe even one of those SS Tubular manifolds? Any before and after dynos?

The reason why I ask is I am looking to maximize both my power AND power band on the stock unit. I just purchased a FMIC and some Denso Style 680CC injectors as well and now I am looking to upgrade some exhaust flow, is it worth it for the $250 price PLUS the cost of install and gaskets????

Thanks in advance.

Well being that your car has a 9.8 hotside, I would say adding a bigger turbine wheel would probably make somemore hp and youll probably loose some spool and hp with one of those cheap *** manifolds on a stock turbo.

the 10.5 hotside is better, the tubular manifold not. You dont need larger injectors till you get a LARGER turbo. With my mods, I still have the stock injectors! I think David at Bushur once stated on here, he is taking the injectors out of their stage 4 package, as the larger injectors dont add HP until larger turbo. Think about it, more air needs more fuel. If you get larger injectors, you have more fuel, but not more air(still stock turbo). my 2c

Like I said before save the $250 and buy a used TME turbo. You can then sell the stock turbo.

I agree get a TME turbo

The 10.5 hotside is also a great option

Avoid stock turbo headers

Of course I dont mind you asking, I am EVEN with the AMS car and Als Dynoflash car in the 1/4 mile, up until the lights go green on the tree!, no really,as the cams/turbo/alky kit were all installed at the same time, and I am hunting down gremlins with the alky kit, and now the clutch is out getting inspected by Exedy, so I havent had the chance yet. will let you know.

Look at my mods, I was told by alot of tuning shops, I dont need larger injectors, get the larger FMIC, dont waste your money on another manifold or the 02 housing, no gain, not worth the money. I know you like the LOOK of the tubular manifold, but dont sacrafice the drive or the HP for the looks. Andrew at Dyno4mance has/can get the TME turbo, he also sells the hotsides.
YOU DONT NEED LARGER INJECTORS TILL YOU GET LARGER "AIR"!! (larger turbo)
