I have an 05 Evo and I have GSC 264 cams, Injen Intake, UICP, AMS Lower IC Pipe, Walbro 255, 3" TBE, and MBC. I need 4 other cars in my area (North Central NC) that also want a custom flash (5 total).

I have not installed my cams, intake, or fuel pump yet becuase of the need for a tune. So who is with me? I mean I'm willing to drive to where the majority of the people are....I just need for a group of us to get together so Al can schedule some road tunes....unless someone knows of an AWD dyno willing to let us take over the shop for a day.

What date were yall thinking of?

If October, excluding the 1st/2nd (got reserves) - a definate "I'm in". Late Sep -possibly.

Nonetheless, I would love to take a slot, it just depends on the date.

I need a tune for cams and fuel pump.

 

The date depends on Al and the Dyno's schedule.....

I know that there has to be more people in NC, VA and SC that want a custom flash. Lets get this rolling people.

 

i would love to do this but im stock. Also just to let you know that dyno reads kinda low so dont get mad if your number seem kinda low.

 

That Mustang Dyno has been set up to read somewhat like a Dyno Jet now. Although all dynos are going to read different because of different conditions. When it was frist set up it was set to the factory specs from MDs. All you have to do is go in there and change the perimeters on the computer and make it read anything you want. The last Evo that went there that I know of put down 354 awhp and the same car put down 367 awhp on the AWD Dyno Jet in Bristol TN. But the main thing is tuning, and the MD is the best for that since it puts a real world load on your car. The drag strip is where the proof is anyways. Not some dyno queen number... Bruce

Who will be #5? Probably will be in October after Al's trip to So Cal. That seems to be the best date for me and Stevdalpiaz so far. Speak up people.

 

I talked to Ketih today at Taylor and he said that it is $900 a day for the dyno. That is from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. the latest because of noise ordinance. Which I think is plenty of time to get everyone done. It would be nice to get at least 9 people to use the dyno for tunning. I have a friend here in Hickory with a STi that needs a custom flash too. Which Big Al flashs too. I am sure he will do some Suby if we ask him nicely. I was thinking ether Oct 15th or Oct 22nd. I will be out of town from Oct 1st to Oct 9th, so basicly any tiime after Oct 9th... Bruce

 

i dont need a tune but i will help out with the dyno cost!! I have some changes i want to make if brian comes out there!!! I acutally may need a tune if i get somethings that i want!!!
