Arrow Dyno Flash and Buschur Racing going to SCCA national Runoffs

For you road racing fans, Buschur Racing has become an associate sponsor and Dyno Flash will be tuning the SCCA T2 class 2005 Evo MR # 5 at this years SCCA National Championship Run Offs

Race info

"This year, nearly 800 drivers will be competing for National Championship medals in 23 different classes. This event at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course again promises lots of exciting competition and close racing since the track is known as a driver's track rather than a horsepower facility. With drivers, crew, workers and sponsors from all over the country in attendance, the 2005 SCCA National Championship Runoffs® Presented by Kohler will be one of the best events ever"

I am proud to be working on this 100% stock 2005 MR to show how well it can fare with Dyno Flash tuning. (and a little driving by the very talented driver also)

Here is the list of entries this year - LOTS of competition

A dyno session will occur on the Buschur Mustang Dyno on the 13th in the afternoon.

I will be at Mid Ohio next week from the 14th through the 16th in practice sessions tuning the car. Any members attending please feel free to stop by.

My goal is to determine how closely the new Buschur Mustang dyno can replicate on the track conditions in the most demanding of motorsports.

I will post updates as the practice week continues.

Thats great t o hear AL drag racing is great but having done both drag and BMwDRIVERS SCHOOL at moroso motorsports park in Palm Beach gardens Florida I have to admit that road racing is alot of fun but it also teaches you total control and concentration finding the right line ,and trail braking hitting apexes its such a rush and the concentration part helps in real word situations.also control is key to any motorsport any way this is great news............Al and BUSCHUR RACINGkeys to an awesome race ca. Keep us posted Thanks Rgalardojr.

Today the car was dyno tuned on the Mustang dyno at Buschur Racing

I was very impressed with how the Mustang can be used to replicate real world conditions, it is am invaluable tool to get the tune very close to real world conditions prior to track testing

I will not disclose the results here prior to the race, however, it is safe to say that no stock evo has ever put down this much power ever. The car is tearing *** as it is tuned very agressive on 100 octane fuel. Time will tell how it stands up to a week of track testing, qualifying next week and the race next saturday

I will be at the track tomorrow and will update how the car fares at the track

Guys this is what a race car should look like. This is one of the most impressive cars I have seen yet. Everything in the appropriate spot, very clean, very very professional. Its an honor to have my name on a car this nice. Great job on building the car Bill, GREAT job!

Dave & Al,

Its great to see you guys continue to expand in motorsports beyond the drap strip, not to take away from your considerable sucess at the strip.

Honestly after spending my first day emersed into this new arena for me I can draw a few conclusions

1 - Road racing is serious business and takes even more time to properly dial in a car and then ads a whole driving demension which makes it a very extreme motorpsort

2 - Car guys of which ever type of sport share a common passion for cars

3 - Evos are one bad *** road racing machine

do you think that the car would be tuned differently for each application?

Only lucky ones that are sponsored by Buschur Racing !

This car is tuned to the edge of what can be made with a stock evo engine - when the race is over I will post the dyno sheet - it will shock all of you

Basically it is making with 100 octane on a 100% stock engine set up the same power as a Buschur Stage 4 car made on pump gas. Its nuts

When you tune that agressive - there is zero margin of saftey and you have to set it to match the particular track.

You could dial down the tune 10 whp less and have it safe for a variety of tracks - but in this kind of racing you are willing to go to great legnths to get an extra 10 whp
