I have spent the last month or so planning a purchasing parts to uprgrade my 05 Evo. After much reading and consideration I decided to go with Al's DynoFlash. I did not know (at the time) when he was coming to the Northwest for a custom tune so I went with the mail in flash.
I would like to share what a great experience I had. My evo is a daily driver and is my only car at the moment. As parts showed up in the mail, I installed what I could with the help of friends (Turboback ehxaust, Intake, Upper ICP, BOV, Fuel pump) but scheduled an appointment to install the cams and headstuds. Almost everything had showed up but I was waiting on one last part before I could send off my ECU to be flashed. In dire need of a tune, I was starting to stress out because my appointment to have my cams done was rapidly approaching and I couldn't be without my car for very long.
When the last part showed up, I rushed my ECU overnight to dynoflash. My ECU went out at 3:30pm on a tues Overnight from Washington to the East coast. I let Al know that I needed it as soon as possible to make my appointment on friday. I had a tracking # for my completed ECU my 12:30pm the Next day (wed) and received it early Thursday with an entire day to spare!!! Amazing service. Thanks Al.
As for the install, all I can say is WOW! I went from a bone stock evo to the setup below in the matter of three days and the difference is amazing.
Current Setup:
Injen Intake
Injen Upper ICP
Invidia Downpipe
Invidia Cat Delete
Invidia Resonated N1 Catback
ARP Headstuds
Walbro Fuel Pump
GSC 272/272 cams
Linage Grounding Kit
Forge Type RS Recirc BOV
Forge Unos MBC
Mail-In DynoFlash
Hotchkis Springs and Rear Sway bar
RMR Lower Arm Bar (fits DP perfectly)
Because it was all installed almost at once I can specifically review the difference before and after the flash but, as a package, it is an amazing tune. The car runs great. I can't wait to get it to the track and on the dyno. I'll be sure to post results when I get them. I would reccomend Al's service and Dynoflash to Anyone. Thanks again!
